CSPS Social Policy Seminar - "Policy Entrepreneurs and Policy Change in Developing Countries"

Dr. Salome Afrifa delivered a webinar on "Policy Entrepreneurs and Policy Change in Developing Countries: An analysis of the national community water and sanitation policy reform framework in Ghana."

 

Her presentation focused on policy entrepreneurs in the development of the National Community Water and Sanitation Policy Reform Framework (NCWSPRF).  Particularly, it examined the role of the leadership of Community Water and Sanitation Agency in addressing the challenges of the small town water systems and the strategies adopted to shape and promote policy changes.

Dr. Salomey Kpodjie Gyamfi Afrifa obtained her PhD degree at the International Institute of Social Studies at the Erasmus University. Her research assessed the  processes of institutional change in small-town water supply systems in Ghana.
