Bio: Antoinette Tsiboe-Darko is a Social Development Researcher who joined the Centre in 2015 as a Research Fellow and Lecturer. She has over ten years’ experience working in the private sector as consultant for numerous mining companies in Ghana until she joined academia in 2015. She specialises in providing expert consultancy services in social development, natural resource management and development management in communities endowed with natural resources. Within civil society, she has worked with organisations such as STAR Ghana Foundation, UNICEF and World Vision International focusing on facilitation of stakeholder dialogues, grants evaluation and community research projects.
Research: Dr. Tsiboe-Darko’s principal research interests lie in governance structures, institutions, building sustainable livelihoods and corporate social investments in the extractive sector of Ghana. Her research over the years has been in specific social development and governance issues such as health, poverty and education and the resultant effect on community development, citizen's participation and political decisions.
