  • Introducing the 2021-2022 cohort of the MA in Social Policy Studies program at CSPS. 

    We are pleased to introduce the 2021-2022 cohort of the Masters in Social Policy Studies program. 

     
    This year's admission was particularly competitive; through a series of written and oral assessments, we identified applicants who had a strong potentially for graduate studies and compelling reasons for wanting to enter the program.

  • Dr. Ernestina Tetteh convenes event for International Day for Street Children

    Dr. Ernestina Tetteh, Research Fellow at CSPS, has converted her work on street children into advocacy. She is the convener of a organisations working with this population of young people. On 12 April, she organized an event to commemorate the International Day for Street Children and to hold a conversation with the media and the public about how ordinary people can help to make better the lives of street children. 

  • John Azam wins Best MA Thesis Prize 🥳

    John Theodore Azam, who graduated in January 2022 from the CSPS MA program in Social Policy Studies, will receive the CSPS Best MA Thesis Prize at the University of Ghana's Academic Awards Ceremony on Friday, 29 April 2022.  John's thesis was selcted for the prize after a rigorous process that involved shortlisting four theses which were then put through a review process. 

  • CSPS presents report on Covid-19 responses

    CSPS and Star Ghana Foundation presented an report on government response to the covid pandemic in three sectors: health, education and livelihoods. CSPS applied a gender and inclusive analysis to the interventions to contain and mitigate the impact of Covid-19, to better understand how these impacted on the poor, children, women, persons with disability and other socially marginalized or vulnerable groups. 

  • CSPS graduates 32 students from the MA, MRPP and PhD programs

    CSPS has 32 students graduating during the January 2022 congregations.  We couldn't be more proud!
